Before you book — understand the process
Every book has a journey.
Here is where yours fits in.
Many authors come to us asking for proofreading when what they actually need first is editing — or ghostwriting when what they need is a structural conversation. We don't just take a brief and begin. We figure out where you actually are in the process so you invest in the right service at the right time.
Write / Ghostwrite
The manuscript comes first. If you have your ideas but not the words, we ghostwrite it. If you've already written a draft, we move to the next stage.
Edit for Structure
Once a manuscript exists, it needs to be shaped — structure, flow, argument, voice. This happens before any line-level work begins.
Copyedit
With structure in place, we go line by line — grammar, punctuation, consistency, style sheet, sentence flow.
Proofread
The final pass. The manuscript is formatted, laid out, and ready — we catch everything the eye missed.
Not sure which stage you're at? That's exactly what the discovery call is for.
Service 01
Ghostwriting
Your ideas, your voice, your name on the cover.
You have a story. A body of knowledge. A journey that took you years to build — and that others would pay to learn from. The only thing standing between where you are and a published book is the writing itself.

As ghostwriters, we don't replace your voice — we find it, shape it, and put it on the page. Through structured interviews, conversations, and your existing notes or content, we turn what's in your head into a manuscript that reads exactly like you wrote it. Because in every meaningful way, you did.

We've written business books, personal memoirs, brand stories, thought leadership pieces, books for NGOs documenting their impact journeys, and travelogues — across finance, psychology, management, mental health, physical health and nutrition, lifestyle and self-care, and productivity and time management.

Service 02
Book Promotional Blogs
Reach your ideal readers before they've heard your name.
Publishing a book is only half the work. The other half is making sure the right people can find it — and that they find it long after launch day has passed.

Most authors rely on social media posts at launch and then go quiet. But your ideal reader is already searching for answers online — right now, without knowing your book exists. They're typing questions into Google. They're asking AI tools like ChatGPT and Perplexity. They're looking for someone who understands their problem. Book promotional blogs are how your book becomes the answer to those searches.

We write blogs optimised for both SEO and AEO — covering the two ways your ideal reader now discovers content online.
SEO — Search Engine Optimisation
Traditional search: when someone types a question into Google and finds your blog in the results. We research the exact keywords your target readers search for, and build every blog around those terms — so your book surfaces at the right moment, to the right person.
AEO — Answer Engine Optimisation
The new frontier: when someone asks an AI tool a question and it cites your content as the answer. AEO structures your blogs so that Google's AI Overviews, ChatGPT, and Perplexity can extract and recommend your content. In 2026, this is where a significant share of discovery happens.
Together, SEO + AEO turns your book promotional blogs into a long-term discovery engine — not just a launch-week push. 12 blogs give your book a strong, lasting organic presence. We plan the topics, do the research, write every word, and deliver them ready to publish.
"We've written 10 blogs per author for 3 different authors — in a single month."
Research quality and voice consistency maintained throughout.

-
Keyword and AEO research based on your book's topic and target reader

Service 03
Copyediting & Proofreading
Line by line. Word by word. The last professional eye before your work meets the world.
These two services are distinct — and they work in a specific order. You can book them separately or as a bundle. Here is what each one covers.
Copyediting
Copyediting is where a good manuscript becomes a great one. By the time your book reaches this stage, the big structural decisions are made. What remains is the detailed, precise work of refining every sentence — grammar, punctuation, word choice, consistency, pacing, and style. This is where we ensure your voice is clean, your argument is clear, and your reader never trips over a sentence when they should be turning the page.
The Style Sheet: We create a custom style sheet for your manuscript — documenting every editorial decision we make, so consistency is maintained across every chapter, every character name, every hyphenated compound, every date format. This travels with your manuscript through proofreading and into publication.
Our copyediting goes deeper because we understand the subject matter. With an M.Phil in Management and 9+ years of experience in finance, psychology, and mental health content — we don't just correct grammar. We understand what you're saying.
What's Included in Copyediting

-
Two Google Meet calls (brief intake + editorial debrief)
-
Custom style sheet created for your manuscript
-
Full editorial report with feedback and recommendations
-
Edited manuscript returned with tracked changes
-
Second clean manuscript after changes are implemented
-
Independent proofread by a professional proofreader
-
Up to two rounds of revision
Proofreading
Proofreading is the final stage — and it only works if it comes last. By this point, your manuscript has been written, structured, and copyedited. What remains are the details that still slip through: a misspelling on page 47, an inconsistent heading style in chapter 8, a page number that skipped, a graph caption that doesn't match its figure.
These are the things a reader notices — even when they can't name what's wrong. They create a quiet sense of carelessness that undermines everything you've worked to build. We catch them. All of them.
What's Checked in Proofreading

-
Spelling errors — every word, every page
-
Punctuation and grammar
-
Basic formatting and layout consistency
-
Page numbers and correct chapter/section division
-
Font, heading style, and layout consistency throughout
-
Graphs, images, tables, charts, and illustrations — accuracy and consistency
-
Obvious factual accuracy (names, dates, numbers)
-
Up to two rounds of revision
A note on process: We only begin copyediting on manuscripts that have already been structurally edited. If you're unsure where your manuscript stands, tell us on the discovery call — we'll advise honestly.
Editorial support
We work across the full publishing ecosystem.
Our editorial services aren't limited to first-time authors. We work at every stage of the publishing world — from indie self-publishers to established houses, from academic journals to corporate content teams.
Indie & Self-Publishing Authors
You're doing this yourself — which means every stage of quality control falls on you. We become your professional editorial partner, ensuring your manuscript meets the same standard as anything coming out of a traditional publishing house.
Corporate & Business Content
Businesses producing white papers, thought leadership reports, internal communications, or long-form brand content need the same editorial rigour as book publishers. We bring that rigour without the publishing-industry jargon.
Publishers & Literary Agents
Traditional publishing houses and literary agents need manuscripts that meet the highest editorial standards. We specialise in elevating manuscripts to those standards — adhering to your style guide, refining tone and readability, ensuring consistency throughout.

-
Translation from English/Hindi to 10 main Indian languages and viz a viz
-

Something most authors don't know until it's too late
Your publisher markets your book.
That's not the same as building your brand.
Most authors assume that once they sign with a publisher — or launch on Amazon — the marketing is handled. Some of it is. But there's a significant gap between what a publisher does for your book and what you need to do for yourself as an author. Readers in 2026 don't just buy books. They follow people. They look up the author. They check what else you've written, what you stand for, and whether they trust you enough to invest their time. That gap is where we work.
What Your Publisher Does
A traditional publisher handles distribution — getting your book into bookstores, onto platforms, and in front of press contacts. They manage the production: cover design, typesetting, and launch-day logistics. They may run a campaign for your release window. For a well-supported title, they'll pitch media, seek reviews, and coordinate retail placement.

All of this promotes the book.
What You Still Need to Build as an Author
None of what a publisher does builds you as an author — your personal brand, your searchability, your reader relationships. Readers today want to know the person behind the pages. They search your name. They read your blog. They follow your LinkedIn or Instagram. They want your story, your expertise, your next book, your recommendations.

Even with traditional publishing, personal branding, social media engagement, and ongoing content are now considered essential — not optional extras. Relying solely on the publisher is no longer enough. And if you're self-publishing, you are the entire marketing department.
"Your publisher sells your book. Linkingwordz builds the author readers come back to."
How We Help
This is exactly why book promotional blogs, LinkedIn content, and website content matter for authors — not just for business owners. Your blogs answer the questions your ideal readers are already searching for. Your LinkedIn builds the authority that makes people trust you before they've read a page. Your website gives them somewhere to land when they want to know more.

Readers are interested in you — your journey, your credentials, your point of view, your next project. We help you build the content that tells that story — and makes sure the right people can find it.
Subject matter expertise you can trust.
Why our editorial work goes deeper
Most editors are skilled with language. Fewer understand the field they're editing in. We bring both — and that combination changes the quality of what we deliver.
Finance & Management
From personal finance and investment strategy to corporate management and accounting — we understand the terminology, the logic, and the audience. Your financial or business content will be accurate, clear, and accessible without losing precision. Backed by an M.Phil in Management and early-career lecturing in Accounting and Finance.
Psychology & Mental Health
Clinical concepts, therapeutic frameworks, behavioural science, and mental health communication — we have genuine working knowledge of this space and how it needs to be written for both professional and general audiences. Sensitivity and accuracy are non-negotiable here.
Physical Health, Nutrition & Wellness
Health and wellness content requires both subject familiarity and careful framing. We understand the nuance between evidence-based health content and lifestyle writing, and we bring that judgment to every project.
Lifestyle, Self-Care & Productivity
Time management, self-care practices, productivity systems, and personal development content — a growing and commercially strong category. We understand what resonates with this audience and how to write it with both warmth and substance.
Travel & Culture
Travelogues, cultural narratives, and experience-based non-fiction — we bring an editorial eye to travel writing that honours both the journey and the reader's desire to be transported by it.
Social Impact & NGO Content
Impact reports, mission-driven books, and organisational narratives for NGOs and social enterprises. We understand the unique voice required to communicate purpose-led work — credible, human, and compelling without being corporate.
Shruti holds an M.Phil in Management and spent the early years of her career as a college lecturer in Accounting, Finance, and Management — before moving into 9+ years of professional work in linguistics, content, and writing.
From idea to shelf
We know the publishing process. All of it.
Publishing — whether traditional or self-published — is a long road. Knowing where you are on it, and what comes next, makes every decision easier.

Client Love
What authors say about working with us.
Your manuscript deserves more
than a quick read-through.
I'm Shruti — and I've spent 9+ years working in the linguistic, content, and writing industry. Before that, I was a college lecturer. Before that, an M.Phil student researching management.
Which means when I edit a business book, I'm not just checking your grammar. I'm reading your argument.
We work with a maximum of 5–10 clients at a time. That's a deliberate choice — because your manuscript deserves full attention, not a slot in a production queue.
If your book is written, almost written, or still an idea with a lot of potential — let's talk. There's no pressure. No packages pushed on a first call. Just an honest conversation about where you are and what your manuscript actually needs next.
